The Sun enters Scorpio II, The Alchemical Apparatus for Double Distillation, on 2 November 2022 at 6:59 am EDT.  The Hellenistic era Greeks of Alexandria, Egypt, commemorated Leto the mother of the Sun and Moon, at this time of year — honoring her for her refugee status fleeing the wrath of Hera, her divine ministry as an educator and rearer of children, and the gracefulness of her guidance to her children.  

The Lunar Eclipse on November 8 reflects some of this story this year, as it passes over North America, the Pacific, and parts of Europe, South America, and East Asia... both the Sun and Moon are subject to Venus in a rare and unusual way — with Mars inconjunct to scorpio from his current placement in Gemini, Venus assumes a role of leadership in a place of detriment... not unlike Liz Truss trying to make her way though the perils of UK leadership... or Leto giving birth to Sun and Moon despite being hated and reviled by Hera Queen of Heaven.
